A sweatshirt that tells a story, the two hand embroidered symbols represent the world (PEJEL) and a saint (TOTIK) in the Native Mayan language Tzotzil.
The PEJEL or world is always represented with a rhombus shape, its four sides are the divine boundaries of time and space. The inside represents the 4 cardinal points.
The TOTIK has two visual cues that communicate it is a saint; the "+" symbol embroidered on the inside of the characters face representing divinity, and the lines coming out of the character's head representing a halo.
