For the launch of Siete’s nixtamalized Maiz Totopos, Casa Xali created a custom palm basket along a weaved textile cloth. The palm baskets were dyed blue and weaved by artisans in the state of Guerrero, where cesteria is a major technique and trade. The textiles were woven on a large scale loom in Oaxaca and they use five different thread colors.
